You can install and run it alongside versions 10.x and 11.1. Existing software functionality will not be affected. Just make sure you don’t start the old version and v11.2 at the same time if you’re using a built-in database to store projects.

This new version includes ten improvements.

1. Design cards on the List page

Similar to vertical or column layout but lightweight. No field names, just the data. Fixed width and height. The record view page can be opened by clicking the entire card in one of the fields. Customization: field list, layout, fonts, colors, paddings, borders, rounded corners.

2. Two new visual themes

The new visual themes are called Futuro (light) and Obsidian (dark). You can choose them from the Style Editor screen. They are modern, elegant and light.

3. Three new welcome page designs

The new welcome page designs are called Nebula, Optima and Sonic. You can switch between them while the Page Layout screen and the Menu page are open. Here’s an example of what the Nebula layout looks like.

4. Tabs Panels

You can combine multiple dashboard elements into one and use the tabs to switch between them.

5. Dashboard widgets

Similar to dashboard code snippets, but easier to customize.

6. SMTP with OAuth support

We currently support Gmail Workplace and Microsoft Exchange accounts.

7. “Javascript Create TinyMCE” event to customize TinyMCE

This new event allows you to customize the behavior of the TinyMCE editor throughout the project.

8. ‘View as’ option Copies the value to the clipboard

This option can be enabled for any text field in the “Show as” setting.

9. Folding elements in dashboards

All panel items can be collapsed by clicking on their header.

10. Display the detail key column as a hyperlink

The hyperlink points to the Master View page and can be opened in the same window, in a new window, or in a pop-up window. The same functionality for the Search Assistant field in view mode. In the screenshot below OrderID has a foreign column in the “Order Details” table. It is configured to open the master table data in a popup window.
