Grayson Chrisley is struggling to deal with his dad and mom being holed up in jail.

The truth star opened up concerning the toll visiting his dad and mom, Todd and Julie Chrisley, in jail has taken on him, saying the scenario has made him “bitter.”

“To me, it’s worse than them dying,” Grayson stated on sister’s “Unlocked with Savannah Chrisley” podcast.

“As a result of they’re right here, however they’re not right here. So it’s simply time that’s being wasted. I’m saying, like, in the event that they died, there’s no risk of you getting any extra time with them. So it’s over.”

“There may be at all times going to be part of you that’s bitter. There’s no method round it. It’s gonna suck for so long as they’re there,” he added.

The Chrisleys have been sentenced to a mixed 19 years in jail for fraud and tax evasion in November 2022.

Todd started his 12-year sentence at Federal Jail Camp Pensacola in January, whereas Julie, 50, is spending the following seven years at Federal Correctional Establishment and Federal Jail Camp Marianna in Florida.

She may even serve 16 months on probation as soon as she is launched from jail.

Talking about life since their dad and mom reported to jail, Savannah and Grayson admitted to taking the scenario at some point at a time.

“Our schedules don’t align. And you then don’t see one in all them for 3 or 4 weeks, and you then’re struggling,” Grayson defined. 

“I battle going again to again weeks as a result of I’m in that temper … after which I am going and begin it over again. You by no means actually get out of it.”

Grayson, who not too long ago turned 17, stated celebrating his birthday with out his dad and mom was a difficult impediment to beat.

‘Nicely, it sucked. It wasn’t the best birthday I’ve ever had,’ he recalled. ‘I didn’t anticipate it to be, although, as a result of, like, mother and pop aren’t there. So yeah, it form of sucked.”

For her half, Savannah, 25, who’s now the first carer of Grayson and their 10-year-old niece, Chloe, stated she feels “renewed” after visiting Todd and Julie behind bars.

In January, Savannah revealed that her brother had a “breakdown” after their dad and mom reported to jail.
