Paloma Religion slams new ‘Little Mermaid’ movie: ‘Wtf is that this s–t?’

The British singer took to her Instagram Tales after catching Disney’s live-action remake of “The Little Mermaid” — which options Halle Bailey as Ariel, a mermaid who falls in love with Prince Eric (Jonah Hauer-King) — in theaters, slamming the movie’s message.

“Simply seen [sic] the brand new little mermaid with my youngsters and whereas I believe Halle offers efficiency and it’s nice casting, as a mom of ladies I don’t need my youngsters to assume it’s okay to surrender your whole voice and your powers to like a person,” Religion, 41, wrote in a since-deleted submit, per Metro.

“Wtf is that this s–t? Not what I need to be educating subsequent gen ladies in any respect.”

Followers took to Twitter to share their ideas about Religion’s remarks, with a number of of them questioning if she had even seen the unique “Little Mermaid” movie, which was launched in 1989.
