Sum 41 is formally disbanding.

After 27 years collectively, the band members introduced their breakup by way of Instagram Monday.

“Being in Sum 41 since 1996 introduced us among the greatest moments in our lives,” Deryck Whibley, Dave Baksh, Jason McCaslin, Tom Thacker and Frank Zummo wrote in a press release.
