1. Once you purchase the app from the Webkul store, you will receive a download link module zip file.
2. Extract the file from your system when the download is complete. As a result, you will be able to see a folder called- dynamic_field_value_generator
3. Copy and paste this folder into your Path of Odoo plugins.
4. Now, open the Odoo app and click on the Settings menu. Here, click Activate Developer mode.
5. Then open the application menu and click on “Update the list of modules.’
6. In the search bar, remove all filters and search for “dynamic_field_value_generator‘
7. You will be able to see the module in the search results. Click on ‘install‘ to install it.

1. once Odoo dynamic field value generator is installed, go to Configuration >> User >> Field value generator. here, select the administrator role.

2. Then go to ‘Field value generator‘to access “field rule”

Admin can access the predefined rule or create a new one for value generation

3. To create a new rule, go to >> Field Value Builder >> New >> Selected Field

User or Manager can add a prefix, suffix, or separator. Admin can also select Text transformation feature for text appearance.

4. To check the domain filtering option >> click on “Apply to” >> The user can see the selected records for which the value would be generated

5. After that click on It applies to all‘ to apply the custom rule to the selected records >> Select the option for any Update the value or overwrite the values >> click generate

6. To access the Contextual actionclick on Create a contextual action,

7. This allows the administrator generate values directly from the model, either by bulk or a single record

8. Once the targeted field is selected and the rules are customized >> click Generate.
